Dr. Ionna joins our practice with 43 years of experience in general dentistry. As a strong proponent of continuing education in dentistry, he brings to our patients all levels of general dental health care, as well as the most advanced treatments in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign.
Dr. Ionna was born in Cincinnati and graduated from St. Xavier High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences at Xavier University in 1977. He attended The Ohio State University of Dentistry, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). In 1981, Dr. Ionna established his private practice in Middletown, Ohio, where he served generations of families. He raised his family in Middletown and served on the Board of Education and Athletic Board for John XXIII Elementary School. In 2015 Dr. Ionna joined the practice of Dr. Douglas MacLean in Middletown, where he continued to serve his patients and help grow that practice. Dr. Ionna is now residing back in Cincinnati and looking forward to establishing new patients here.
Dr. Ionna's focus is on patient-centered care. He acknowledges each patient's unique needs, tailors care to their requirements, and delivers treatments that provide the best experience and smile results. He enjoys taking time to know his patients, their families, and their unique interests.
When not working, Dr. Ionna and his wife, Angela, enjoy Italian cooking, traveling, family vacations, and day trips with their grandchildren. He also enjoys biking on the Little Miami trails, playing golf, and coaching basketball.

Dr. Matthew Nogle graduated with his undergraduate from Xavier University in Cincinnati Ohio. He went on to Dental school at NOVA Southeastern College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He received his Implant and cosmetic dentistry training at Jack Hahn Institute Cincinnati, and Las Vegas Institute Las VegasNevada, Zimmer dental, Dawson Institute in St.Petersburg, FL. Dr. Nogle served our great nation as a proud contractor under the United States Air Force, in Balad Iraq. His skill set includes cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry with emphasis on tempolabile joint functional equilibration, Dental implant placement and restoration with bone grafting and sinus augmentations. He also offers preventative dentistry, Invisalign, endodontic therapy, wisdom teeth extractions, and cosmetic crowns.
After hours, you can find Dr. Nogle small-scale farming non-GMO crops and often a few cows and chickens. Sundays are reserved for Church, Baseball, Sports, and symphonies. In his free time, you can find him on the beach or lake, fishing, swimming, or enjoying any water-based activity no matter how cold or windy. When he isn't on the water, you can find him driving his bulldozer, playing sports, building things in the barn, hosting bonfires and grilling out.
