Dr. Ionna joins our practice with 43 years of experience in general dentistry. As a strong proponent of continuing education in dentistry, he brings to our patients all levels of general dental health care, as well as the most advanced treatments in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign.
Dr. Ionna was born in Cincinnati and graduated from St. Xavier High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences at Xavier University in 1977. He attended The Ohio State University of Dentistry, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). In 1981, Dr. Ionna established his private practice in Middletown, Ohio, where he served generations of families. He raised his family in Middletown and served on the Board of Education and Athletic Board for John XXIII Elementary School. In 2015 Dr. Ionna joined the practice of Dr. Douglas MacLean in Middletown, where he continued to serve his patients and help grow that practice. Dr. Ionna is now residing back in Cincinnati and looking forward to establishing new patients here.
Dr. Ionna's focus is on patient-centered care. He acknowledges each patient's unique needs, tailors care to their requirements, and delivers treatments that provide the best experience and smile results. He enjoys taking time to know his patients, their families, and their unique interests.
When not working, Dr. Ionna and his wife, Angela, enjoy Italian cooking, traveling, family vacations, and day trips with their grandchildren. He also enjoys biking on the Little Miami trails, playing golf, and coaching basketball.

Dr. Aakriti Chaudhry always knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, and dentistry became her passion as she discovered the impact a confident and healthy smile can have on a person’s well-being. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from The Ohio State University and is committed to making every dental visit a comfortable and positive experience.
Originally from Columbus, Dr. Chaudhry is excited to bring her expertise to Cincinnati, where she provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Dr. Atul Deshmukh is a native Ohioan, growing up just northwest of Columbus. He began his collegiate career at Case Western Reserve University and transferred to The Ohio State University, where he obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Economics and graduated with honors.
Dr. Deshmukh went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Louisville in 2008. He then completed five years of surgical training at Temple University Hospital and continued to hone his skillset when he was selected by The Institute of Facial and Cosmetic Surgery in Utah for their prestigious and accredited facial cosmetic fellowship.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Deshmukh made several research contributions and participated in multiple volunteer programs. One of his most impactful experiences was being elected as a team leader in the International Service Learning Program aiding Central America.
Since then, he has returned to the Midwest and dedicated his practice to providing quality patient care delivered with a personal touch. Dr. Deshmukh is committed to using his knowledge and experience to help his patients solve their surgical needs and to ensure exceptional results.
Dr. Deshmukh has earned his Board Certification and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a current member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Ohio Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and both the American and Ohio Dental Associations.
Outside of his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Deshmukh enjoys traveling, music, tennis, and exploring local coffee shops in search of the best cortado. He is also a family man and loves spending time with his wife Sarah, their daughter Vivian, and their son Dhruv.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio), where he graduated with Research Distinction and was recognized for his outstanding clinical performance throughout dental school. Prior to earning his dental degree, Dr. Nguyen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
From an early age, Dr. Nguyen knew he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. After shadowing multiple healthcare professionals, he was drawn to dentistry because of its unique ability to relieve pain, restore confidence, and positively impact a person’s overall quality of life. He firmly believes that oral health is closely connected to overall systemic health and that everyone deserves access to compassionate, comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Nguyen is passionate about building lasting relationships with his patients and creating a welcoming environment where they feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. He takes pride in being detail-oriented and developing customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs, goals, and comfort level.
